i downloaded spybot "free download" then it scanned my computer and found 21 harmful files or what have you, it was like if you want them cleared u have to register and im like pssh yeah right so i had them quarintied *thats not the right spelling but hey* what does that do? is there a way i can get rid of those files w. out buying anything?

ok this is better and totally free go to http://www.ewido.net/en/onlinescan/ make sure to have pop ups blockers turned off and accept the download scan and it will give the option to remove infections when it finishes its a real good app it does more than spybot does it also does adware maleware and trojans where spybot only does spyware.

SpyBot is a free program that will remove the spyware for free. Go to www.spybot.com and download the latest version.

I do not believe in that software some Buddy trying to sell you software I tried that once told me I have about 65 harmful files they cleaned the first twenty one then I was told to buy. I installed virus scan . It did not find any harmful files on my computer. They just scare you to let you buy.

It doesn't say that for me. When you select Fix Problems it will tell you it's going to delete the files and that's that.

If it wants you to pay, then you don't have the real thing.
The real Spybot Search & Destroy is and has always been free.
