I am 44 years old. The mother of two, grandmother of one. About 5 years ago I started feeling intimate attraction towards women, I did not act on it. In the last year I find that I am only attracted to women. Does this mean I am a lesbian or am I just totally ticked off at men in general?

Put yourself at ease and realize that sexuality is not so categorical. If you are attracted to women at the moment, then so be it. Just accept that you are a sexual being who cannot be categorized as gay/straight/bi. We live in a culture that supports sexual categories, however we don't all have to abide by those sexual ideologies. You are you and you cannot change that! The best of luck to you!!!!

What you are is a Human being, lesbian should be used as an adjective, not a noun. Being angry with men would not cause a physical response toward women, it would just inhibit a response toward men. If you had bi-sexual tendencies in the first place, even very repressed ones, that inhibited heterosexual response might well cause the repressed tendency to emerge, after all, that sexual energy has to go somewhere. Clearly you have a lesbian side to your nature, accept that, the question is do you want to act on it? Only you can decide that.

Probably a lesbian. You can be ticked off at men and still be attracted to them. At least that's what I think.

Takes some people longer than others to realize that males are disgusting.
I think youre just ticked off at men.
I dont think youre lesbian at all
Maybe just curious.
But i think after a while youll be back with males.
Thats just my opinion ....... and you know what people say about them.

no, not really. It means that you must have been thru some kind of stress or problems in your life. NObody is lesbian for free. There must be something hidden behind this behaviour of yours. Go and look for help if you find this hard to deal with.

who knows? i guess you could try it and see if the attraction is for real or just a fantasy....maybe you are bisexual...maybe men have been so horrible to you that you think that being with a woman might be a whole lot better....

I think it means that as you grow more mature, you are more confident in yourself and who you are, and are open to more experiences, maybe some that would have been out of the question when you were younger. I only hope I can be as open to new experiences as I grow older.
