It is NOT true. All it does is help you to sweat more and by sweating, you're losing toxins that are built up in your body. Fat does not "melt" away, if it did, we'd all be placing ourselves in giant microwave ovens for 30 seconds a day. The only way to lose the fat and have your abs show more is through diet and exercise. Pills won't do it, plastic wrap won't do it, but plastic surgery might, but you'd still have to work out to get the abs to show some definition.
Sorry to burst your bubble, but I didn't get my "8 pack" by wearing trashbags around my waist and popping weight loss tabs.
