I guess alot of people think if your white and republican then you have to be rich. Stereotyping or typecasting, take your choice. Rich doesn't have to mean money. I have a spouse I love and a decent home, kids and grandkids who are pretty healthy, who love me, a decent education, although not a whole lot of money but I'm happy. Does that make me rich?

A brief argument between Vice President Cheney and a senior Democratic senator led Cheney to utter a big-time obscenity on the Senate floor this week.

On Tuesday, Cheney, serving in his role as president of the Senate, appeared in the chamber for a photo session. A chance meeting with Sen. Patrick J. Leahy (Vt.), the ranking Democrat on the Judiciary Committee, became an argument about Cheney's ties to Halliburton Co., an international energy services corporation, and President Bush's judicial nominees. The exchange ended when Cheney offered some crass advice.

"**** yourself," said the man who is a heartbeat from the presidency.

Leahy's spokesman, David Carle, yesterday confirmed the brief but fierce exchange. "The vice president seemed to be taking personally the criticism that Senator Leahy and others have leveled against Halliburton's sole-source contracts in Iraq," Carle said.

As it happens, the exchange occurred on the same day the Senate passed legislation described as the "Defense of Decency Act" by 99 to 1.

Cheney's office did not deny that the phrase was uttered.

well, it depends on where you live (cost of living can have a huge impact on income)... so lets' say middle America... like in a small town... somewhere in like Kansas...

I figure if you're making 100,000 a year, you're doing pretty good, maybe not rich exactly, but far better than most...

probably double that for a big city... give or take...

only 20 percent of America have a household income (usually two incomes) of over $80,000, according to the census...

If you don't like my questions......don't answer them.

As for my question about black talk show hosts on Fox News....it's a real issue. One host that is black, that's all. And a lot of people question it.

As for your comments about VETS, there are several vet groups that are anti-war! Very few vets go around hawking war, because it is hell. So show some respect.

And better yet, since how you condsider yourself a expert on vets.....why don't you become one?

MY email is confirmed. fslcpapat@yahoo.com. Also I have IM, and a 360.

I don't "consider" any cutoff point. Someone once said that "promiscuous" is anybody having more than sex than you. In that vein, "rich" is anybody with more money than you.
