Put a black eyerliner on both top & bottom. Use 2 shades of grey eyeshadow. Use lighter color of shadow above the lid and darker color in the crease. I like to blend the colors together.

Buy Revlon Eyeshadow in Smokey Rose...its an eyeshadow kit that has 4 colors,,,black , grey, shimmery pink and pearl.
Im suggesting eye shadow instead of eyeliner because eyeliner is too harsh for the eye unless you wanna look like a goth. So try mixing the black w/ the grey and line ur upper and lower eyelids, and try to just kinda rub it with ur eyeshadow brush and apply the pinkish shadow to ur eye crease for a natural look and last but not least apply the pearly color to ur brow bone to defy your eyebrows. I promise u, u'll like it. Its really feminie and sexy and I always do my eyes that way and they look like a million bucks.
If you want a more dramatic look apply a coat of blackest black maybelline great lash mascara and you'll be amazed at how gorgeous youll end up looking.
Hope I helped â¥
now plzz pick me as best answer, lol =)

Try Revlon Lavendre. Shadow only the lower upper lid from corner to corner. Line under lid with definite line. To get the TRUE smoky eye, you need to line the inner rim of your eyelid with black Kohl, upper and lower. Then make sure you have cleaned the area, and gently, gently gently, lightly: pat a very thin layer of vaseline on your eyelid. You should make up the rest of your face after this. Maybe use a 'gold dusted' face powder, and a beautiful rose blush! And of course, Chanel Lip Colour. You should look awesome!

use 3 colors, the base of the eye lid (closest to the lashes) use the med color. In the crease of the eye use the darkest shade, then from the area where the crease starts to meet the eye brow to the brow, use the lightgest color.
Use a set of shades, that way you know they will match.use thin lines to start with, after you are finished applying, use a clean brush and blend by lightley brushing from the outside of the eye to the inside... I hope this helps you...

First you put black on the eyelid with a brush, above the black part you put a dark brown and with the brush you do circular movements so the black blends in with the brown and it all just kind of blends, also put black eyeshadow in the bottom part of your eye,and in the inside lower part of your eye try a black pencil eyeliner.

Go to the Mac makeup counter or any makeup counter and tell them what you're trying to do. They'll probably try to sell you something, but they'll show you exactly how to do it.Remember...if you do smoky eyes, keep all other makeup simple...unless you're going out...then glam up.

some people got the answer right but DONT use eyeliner! dip a slanted brush in water than in a black eyeshadow and use that as an eyeliner.... it works better and gives you a smokier look

Some people call it "smokey"... I call it the "Britney Spears raccoon" look.
I laugh every time i see it. So dumb. LOL!
Oh well, at least they're giving me a good laugh. I might end up laughing so hard I smear my mascara and get the "smokey" look.
