I have always felt that I was meant to be a mother. I recently became one. Other than that, I believe that I am meant to touch the lives of those around me and be an influence for "good" in the world. I'm working on it but will not know for a long time, if at all, if I have succeeded.

Yes I do. I always wanted to be a nurse and I have been a pediatric RN for 16 years. I love my job and I love caring for the children and thier families. I almost died as a baby and the nurses saved my life. I wanted to care for other children the same and make a difference in their lives. I feel like I am doing that. I also always wanted to be a mom and my dream came true through adoption 3 weeks ago and I couldn't love him more. I am also meant to be with my husband Tim. He is the best friend, husband and father anyone could ask for. I am truly in a place in my life where I feel content.

Long ago, when I was a little girl, my grandmother whispered my destiny into my ear. I have followed that vision ever since. I am becoming what I was meant to be. I am becoming more free every day of my life.
