I traveled the entire length of US-66 from Chicago to Los Angeles back before there were any Interstate Highways. Needless to say, I'm old.

I have been from Pasadena to San Bernardino on Route 66. Maybe one day I will get to travel across the country on Route 66!! I think that would be an awesome trip!!

Shamrock, Texas!! The gas station there is one many posters, books of Route 66. There's an old ice cream shop across the street.
