Could someone tell me the location of the island where this is shot? I have google earth and want to see it. Thank you!

Oh and.......I know it was in Thailand but i need the island name or the location or something more specific.

Two of the beaches (Ko Phi Phi Leh and Phuket in Thailand) where this was filmed......... were affected by the Indian Ocean Tsunami on 26 December 2004.
The actual beach is not totally surrounded and enclosed by mountains, hiding it from the sea. In fact there is a large gap between two gigantic boulders and the films editors superimposed a fake mountain there in post-production.

Phi Phi Le island in Thailand
Phi Phi is situated in Krabi Province in southern Thailand. The two islands that make up this group (Phi Phi Don and Phi Phi Le) are about 40 kilometres south-west of Krabi City. The islands are about equidistant from Krabi and Phuket (to the north-west). The islands are famed for their spectacular landscapes.
