I have a male friend who is straight or so he claims but wants to try anal himself. He has asked me if I would do him with a strapon and I told him no. He is not married and not dating at this time but he normally has rather attractive women on his arm and has a two month old son. I think you should take the entire situation at face value: He wants to have sex with you and fulfill his curiosities at the same time. That doesn't mean he is gay. Also, know that feminine behavior is NOT how you tell if someone is gay. That is a stereotype.
Having said all that, please note that in a recent study of "straight" New York men: 10% of them admitted to having gay sex with a man and 70% of those guys didn't use condoms. That is just the ones that admitted it.
Do be careful with this guy.

Like almost everyone else here, I will respond with - it absolutely does not mean he is gay. Being gay means a man is attracted to other men. Enjoying anal stimulation means ......................... he enjoys anal stimulation !!!!!! Not even a "weird fetish". It's a physical activity that has nothing to do with the gender or sex of the person he's doing it with. I'd believe he's totally straight, but is open-minded enough to have discovered the pleasures of anal sex. I could go into the biology of it, but a LOT of men would like it if they tried it, regardless of sexual orientation.

Being anal receptive does not make a man gay. He may very well be in the closet, even to himself, but this inclination does not place him either way.
And neither is it a wierd fetish. Fetish, yes, since technically anything arousing other than actual coitos is a fetish. But most men enjoy a little butt play, at least once in a while. Most may not wnat the full strap-on experience, but that's a difference of degree, not type.

This previous answer intrigues me about male orgasm and anal stimulation. The two times I have tried anal sex it was uncomfortable during initial penetration but it never caused me to have an orgasm.

weird fetish. being gay entails that a man would rather have a relationship with another man. being effeminate or having anal sex is not a determinant of being gay.
