I've been thinking this for years! Who's really prejudice?

This is very true...and for what reason this may be? No one knows....

Someone else besides me finally said it. how many are actually paying attention to this?

There are African Americans, Mexican Americans, Asian Americans, Arab Americans, Native Americans, etc. and then there are just Americans.

You pass me on the street and sneer in my direction. You call me "White boy," "Cracker," "Honkey," "Whitey," "Caveman" and that's OK.

But when I call you, ******, Kike, Towelhead, Sand-******, camel Jockey, Beaner, ****, or Chink you call me a racist.

You say that whites commit a lot of violence against you, so why are the ghettos the most dangerous places to live?

You have the United ***** College Fund. You have Martin Luther King Day. You have Black History Month. You have Cesar Chavez Day. You have Yom Hashoah You have Ma'uled Al-Nabi You have the NAACP. You have BET.

If we had WET(White Entertainment Television) we'd be racists. If we had a White Pride Day you would call us racists. If we had White History Month, we'd be racists. If we had any organization for only whites to "advance" our lives, we'd be racists.

We have a Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, a Black Chamber of Commerce, and then we just have the plain Chamber of Commerce. Wonder who pays for that?

If we had a college fund that only gave white students scholarships, you know we'd be racists. There are over 60 openly proclaimed Black Colleges in the US, yet if there were "White colleges" that would be a racist college.

In the Million Man March, you believed that you were marching for your race and rights. If we marched for our race and rights, you would call us racists.

You are proud to be black, brown, yellow and orange, and you're not afraid to announce it. But when we announce our white pride, you call us racists.

You rob us, carjack us, and shoot at us. But, when a white police officer shoots a black gang member or beats up a black drug-dealer running from the law and posing a threat to society, you call him a racist.

I am proud. But, you call me a racist.

Why is it that only whites can be racists?

Some of these posters need to go back and learn some history. White people have been slaves and blacks have been slave owners. White people did not create racism it has been around and practiced by many people of different races. There are some races who are prejudiced within themselves. Slavery existed long before it was introduced here in the states. Some of you make it sound like there were never slaves before the blacks were enslaved. Learn your history. Slavery has existed since the dawn of time. Where there is poverty there has been slavery.

Who said whites were the only racists? Racism is everywhere, do you hear me EVERYWHERE. When ANYONE uses derogatory terms for a nationality IT"S RACIST. A lot of times its taking a shot back at the other person when you exchange vulgar language with each other. It is known that nationalities other than White or European were often victims of brutalization and violence because certain races felt they were superior over all. You already have college funds, charities, TV channels, holiday's, and many many many opportunities to advance yourselves in life, why can't everyone else have the same things you do. Get off this whole us and you crap. You are NOT the only race that gets rob, carjacked, and shot, where in the hell have you been. It gets done to us by our own races just as well as yours. When an officer uses extreme methods to detaining a person its only racist when there is no real cause for it. Its called racial profiling. Extreme force is used no matter what freakin race you are, have you seen cops, you should watch it more often.

OK, I'll bite. You actually asked FOUR questions, so let's try this:

Who's really prejudice(d)? That would be anyone who believes that their race is better than another one.

Why is it that only whites can be racists? It isn't. Everyone can be a racist, regardless. The perception of racism belongs completely on the observer and the story they[ve told themselves about that person. You've told yourself the story that all of the above is true. Of course there would be people angry over some of the stuff you've mentioned, such as a million white man march. But there were a lot of white upset with the million (black) man march. I encourage you to go ahead and organize one, since you seem so eager to prove your point.

wow talk about stereotyping people... I mean you basically just said that they do all these bad things to "us". I do not believe only whites can be racist not by any means. I have seen racists in all walks of life.

You talk about the black this or Hispanic that and then question about the white this and that... think about it... before those organizations EVERYTHING was white and ONLY white. Those organizations, colleges, and trust funds were set up so minorities could get a better chance at success. The minorities have so many things up against them from day one and they are just trying to make it in this world.

Also, I am not just an American... but I am a welsh-Irish-Italian-German - American... and damn proud of it lol there is no such thing as an American. sure we live in America but the only true Americans are the Native Americans. There is nothing wrong with being proud of your heritage it's when you talk about your heritage being superior to another.

Just do what I do, I don't give a shi* about anything anymore and Iam a noncomformist because I don't fit in anywhere. I was married once, and in my divorce they called me the head of the house hold but could'nt make any of the decisions in my house so we went bankrupt. So you see the goverment just wants all of us to take it and like it no matter what and it isnt just a black, white or any color issue, its a culture issue and were slowly dying as a nation because no one want's to be a lawful citizen anymore. Just think where law come's from ? What you think we evolved into law abiding people? Nope! GOD made man and man is corupt. He think's bad all the time and without law's man would become an animal, not knowing right from wrong. So if we dont come to grip with the fact that we need to be governed by something larger than us, like the one and only GOD, and the fact that we can't govern ourselves without making mistake's then just get ready for the best end ever! Even though my deceased husband was Chinese I can't say I totally disagree with you. There are double standards to now for whites over other cultures. We don't have a race card we can play like they do. Most people associate white pride with the kkk and neo-nazi groups. Theres nothing wrong with loving your culture regardless of race as long as you don't force it onto others. Minorities see us as forcing our culture on them. I mean if your relatives came from germany and celebrated oktoberfest then that is something everyone can enjoy regardless of race. But celebrating Hitlers birthday or saying the Holocaust didn't exist then that is wrong. Find something universal about caucasian heritage that wouldn't offend others and try and celebrate it with them.

Everyone is predjudiced. Some of us more than others. We ALL judge people based on how they look. That simple act is prejudging. We should try to do less of it.

What you are forgetting, i think, in the rest of what you say here is that we do live in a WASPy white, European ancestry based society. The predjudice that mostly whitish people have to deal with is far less than other ethnic groups. You question is worth asking, just try to a be a bit more sensitive about how other ethnic groups feel because you don't know how they feel.

Because back then and now, you still think you can rule the united states of america. Have you seen a black president yet? NO i didn't think so, when that day comes, maybe people will stop calling you racist. And one more thing, just because you gave them all those holidays to be thankful of, that doesn't make up for slavery back then. If you really think about it, would you ever forget the way that people treated you if you were a slave? No, cause it's a painful memory, that can never be forgotten.

I agree. However some people who are of different races say that we already have our own stuff from the beginning. (if you notice most all tv programs have all white people in them). So they would say that we already have our own programs. We already have scholarships for white people, had them from the beginning and just recently black people have had access to them.

I am white and I guess we do already have many rights, but they just aren't called "white rights" just neutral ones.

I don't agree with people putting white people down...if you don't want racism thrown in your face then don't do it to white people. You can't have both sides of the fence and pick and choose racism issues.

Its human nature to find anyone who is different from ourselves to be just that...different. Differences unfortunately get negativity.
I don't know if there will ever be a day where we all just look at each other for who we are inside...we can only hope.

I have to agree. I grew up in a mixed neighborhood & have friends of all nationalities. But I asked this question in my last job. Why don't we have German Am Day, Irish Am Day(not counting St Pat's), Swedish Am Day, Italian Am Day, Scottish Am Day, etc. White is not a nationality.
