my sister had a mold to make plaster hands from her grandaughters hands, it came as a kit, filled with something that she put her hand in, this formed the mold of her hand then you could pour plaster or wax into the mold and have a copy of the childs hand, i need to know anything name, brand, where you can buy them, any info to help me find these! i have 3 grand angels and another one on the way and want to do this before they get too grown! thx for helping!

Your question brings back memories. Use one of the homemade playdoh recipes (see http://www.cooks.com/rec/search?q=homemade+playdoh).

Have your grandchildren stick their hands in the clay (have fun -- try it different ways -- whole hand, hands together, etc.) and then mix up and pour the plaster (if you do alot of this stuff, buy a large quantity). You can make molds of anything, but do not make molds of any copyrighted items or you'll be in big trouble.

Pain with flesh color paint available at hobby or ceramic stores. You can also antique them, use them to hold flowers, use your imagination!
