The best thing to do is walk away. It's a life skill not letting people push your buttons. You have to learn it sometime, it might as well be now because once people know you react to insults the insults never stop.

Just give them a look like you've just seen into their innermost soul, where the worms are, then shake your head like you would when confronted with anything too stupid to reason with.
That sort of cutting remark does not deserve a response.

Fight them. Keep fighting even if you lose. Fight them everytime you see them. Never stop. If they say they will call the police, tell them their is no law that will stop you.
