Blink-182 has called it a day, but has left open the option for a reunion at some stage in the future.
Their official statement reads "For over a decade, blink-182 has toured, recorded and promoted non-stop all while trying to balance relationships with family and friends. To that end, the band has decided to go on an indefinite hiatus to spend some time enjoying the fruits of their labors with loved ones".
Blink-182 was formed in San Diego in 1992 by guitarist/vocalist Tom Delonge, bassist Mark Hoppus, and drummer Scott Raynor. They release a self titled EP in 1993 and signed with MCA Records in 1999 to release their 4th album 'Enema of the State'.
Raynor left that same year and was replaced by Travis Barker.
What followed with the international hit albums 'The Mark, Tom and Travis Show' and 'Take Off Your Pants and Jacket'.
Their last album was 2003's 'Blink-182' which featured a special guest appearance from Robert Smith of The Cure.
The break-up sounds completely amicable. "While there is no set plan for the band to begin working together again, no one knows what tomorrow may bring" they told fans.

well i know tom delonge has made that side project "angels and airwaves"
but im not sure if blink 182s gonna get back together =[

they are taking a hiatus.... but the lead guy is singing in Angels and Airwaves....

Their Fire burned out, they got old, and they did'nt play any music anymore. They were'nt liked by anyone anymore.
