yes, nothing wrong with washing the knee brace, just use cold water and don't put in dryer...let it air dry

No. If you want it to last and stay effective you should hand wash it with a mild detergent (like Woolite) and air dry. Machine washing will significantly reduce its useful life.

yes, i have done this several times and it is fine. you shouldn't however dry it in the dryer because the dry heat will cause the materials to break down and you will notice it won't go back to it's shape after stretching.

My wife does it all the time. Just don't put it in the dryer. Air dry it.

Yes you can but just use warm water and gental cycle that way it won't stretch. Then hang to dry. Or lay flat.
