My doctor told me to take my medication in the a.m. as earlly as I can because the medication is distributing throughout your system all day when you are the most active and your body is stressed the most. Hope this helps but the best advice comes from your doctor. He knows what is best for your own individual needs.

I take all my medication including blood pressure pill a couple of hours before I go to bed. This way any reactions are at night, not while I'm out and about.

I would take it in the morning because you will need it to work for you during the day when you are up and about, not when you are sleeping and your blood pressure is normally lower.

what is on prescription label?
what did your doctor prescribe?
if in doubt, why not take 1/2 in am & 1/2 in pm?
if it is a beta blocker, best to take in pm, to avoid driving problems

i was told in the evening. i take mine at night. but then i am on three different kinds so i have half one morn and the rest at night. look the pills make you tired so it is best to take in the evening. if you have problems with that i would ask the doc or pharmacist. they told me the evening but i dont know your situation.

If it's a diuretic, take it in the morning.
DO NOT take it at bedtime or you'll be up peeing all night long!
