Well, a little of both. I just can't stand to see the decorations up in late August. I just moved away from most of my family so that will be different. I like the whole idea of the season, but I don't enjoy the pressure of buying gifts and sometimes fake holiday wishes.
I love the food though. I don't dread the holidays, I think it is too commercial and we have lost the ability to hear the little bell ring.

Are you looking forward to the holidays is a good question. A question is where I start. For each holiday that is celebrated, I look forward to researching the history of that holiday. It provides a clearer view on what I see the general population do to celebrate and what the commercial world does to anticipate the economics of their profits. So to answer your question, I do look forward to the holidays. It gives me yet another reason to seek the truth of what we believe we are supporting in such a celebratory manner.

I dread the confrontations but I love the celebrations. I guess that's the real meaning of the word family.

Even though I'm still alone i love christmas and here in Puerto Rico they last like 2 months. Who doesn't like 2 months of music, parties, typical food. Especially New Years Eve i love fireworks so.... If you hate them come here you are going to drink so much that you are going to think that is march and there are no holidays. :) good luck with the holidays girl

I enjoy getting together with family and friends, but I do not like the commercial aspect of the holidays. I saw Christmas items at Target today. It is still September, give us a break!

I don't like the holidays because I can't spend it with my real family so I decorate at least for the kids and try to stay positive and upbeat for them but it sure is hard
