I'm bored and want to watch a good scary movie. Any suggestions?

The Changeling w/George C. Scott was very scary to me. Others that really scared me the first time I saw them are: Nightmare on Elm Street, Rosemary's Baby, The Shinning w/Jack Nicholson, Halloween, Psycho, The Thing/1982, Alien and The Sentinel/1977, which really scared me. Hope you find a really scary one!

The Shining isn't all that scary, but it's probably one of the best horror films ever. But that's because most horror flicks now are stupid, predictable, and cliche. The Shining is excellently filmed and has a pretty good plot and medium-lowish scariness factor. It doesn't really make all that much sense (especially compared to the book), but that makes it all the better, because you have to think a bit.

That movie that came out a couple years ago...the one about the tooth fairy; I can't remember the name but that freaked me out. Still don't like being in the dark!
