You are the only one that can make a decision. Personally, I am 22 weeks along and I have not gained that much weight and my face and eyes are not swollen. Here is a sight that you can look into where I found the following paragraph. I am not putting this on to scare you, just to be informed. If you have any questions you may want to call your doctor first thing on Monday.
Here is the website: http://familydoctor.org/064.xml

Does swelling mean I have preeclampsia?
Swelling alone doesn't necessarily mean you have preeclampsia. Some swelling is normal during pregnancy. For example, your rings or shoes might become too tight. Swelling is more serious if it doesn't go away after resting, if it's very obvious in your face and hands, or if it's a rapid weight gain of more than 5 pounds in a week.

No. The weight gain is excessive. Weight gain does vary from woman to woman and even from pregnancy to pregnancy. But in the first 13 weeks you shouldn't gain more than a few pounds and many women actually lose weight the firs trimester. Is this your first baby?

As for the swelling, that can be totally normal. You are producing more blood and body fluids. Typically swelling isn't noticed until the 5th month. But it can occur at any time. Sudden swelling in the hands and face could be a sign of preeclampsia. Again, I thought that was more likely later in pregnancy. Maybe someone else knows more about that.

If you are concerned, contact your OB and ask these questions. I would. The weight gain is rather concerning and you might want to talk with a nutritionist.

It could be or could not be. the best bet is to call your doctor and tell them your symptoms they will let u know over the phone if u need to come in or if it is normal for you. It could be water but it could also be diabetes that a lot of women get during pregnancy. Dont panic yourself because the stress is not good. If u are worried then contact your doctor on monday morning. I am sure u are probably fine but just to make sure check with your OB. Good Luck and Congrats on your pregnancy!

Better safe than sorry. It's probably nothing, but go to webmd.com or better yet the emergency room (just because it's probably the only place open...probably not an emergency situation). You could just be retaining water and feel bloated which I believe is normal...try to not eat as much salt as it further exacerbates the retaination of water.

Walk to a co-worker's desk to chat rather then instant messaging.

In the mood for the hot meal? Make a huge pot of veggie bean soups, divide into two-cup containers, and store inside freezer. Before bed, place a container from the fridge, then grab it before heading out the door each morning.

NO. You should go to the doctor Monday, I think. You could be having twins, or have very high blood pressure, or something. This does not sound at all normal.

no i wouldnt say this is normal i wd contact your doctor imediatly or go to the Emergency room. You need to make sure there isnt some kind of toxin in your system or that you are having allergic reaction to something....think of your baby if this was your baby you wouldnt wait.
