Make it special for something that pertains to the two of you. My wife and I had a song by Styx that meant a lot to us. They were doing a reunion tour 7 years ago and I asked her there. Also, I just met a couple in Hawaii who go engaged at Taco Bell because that's where they met by chance. It probably sounds tacky to anyone else, but when it's special to the two of you, it'll be great.

Make it different....like at a Carnival on a Roller Coaster just before the ride starts ... or at McDonald's over French Fries.
Or....over a night out on the Town at a Restaurant where you've reserved a Table and have the Waiter deliver her a note...or ask her while in Church as you're listening to the service....write her a note and slip it into the Bible.. These are a few ideas just to help you to start thinking. Keep us informed.
Congratulations!

of course something romantic...and usually a suprise. BUT I would pre-discuss it cause I had the unfortunate experience of being proposed to after only about a month of dating and had to tell the guy no. He was heart broken but in the long run it turned out for the better.
I would suggest: beach, night walk, after/during a concert in the park...
It'll kinda depend on your location and your interests. Do it on a good day and try to avoid the holidays...too predictable and who doesn't get engaged on the holidays?!

What ever your heart tells you! Think by closing your eyes and dreaming of the most beautiful sunset or star filled heaven and your favorite love song in the background. You will know when you get that feeling in your body that brings tears of joy to your eyes.
Don't tell other guys and watch sports to recover LOL
You will do fine

I asked my wife to marry me on the beach on friendship day. We both loved the beach and we were friends for some time before we started dating. We have been married for 14 years and every time we visit the beach or every Friendship day we remember the day we got engaged....
So my recommendation is to do something that will mean something special to you and your future spouse for years to come!

The only way to do this is to do something that is meaningful for you and her only. It doesn't matter what anyone here thinks or suggests. You girlfriend will be more enamored if you think of something special yourself. So think about what you have done together and what you have shared together and something will come to mind.

That depends on the girl. I'd suggest reliving your first date or taking her somewhere really romantic.

okay take a bunch of flower petals and set them up on the beach so they say ' will you marry me?' and then at sunset take her for a walk on the beach and walk her up to the petals. then when she reads it get down on one knee and show her the ring!
