Republicans have such a bad reputation currently because of the poor job that President Bush has done. As a result most candidates do not want the votors to know that they are running as a Republican.

Could be that anyone who is knowledgeable about politics know the party affiliation of the candidates. Do the democrats have to put democrat on their signs so their base will know what party they represent? Hmmmmmm
