So I'm in high school (freshman) and my homecoming is coming up and I don't normally go to dances, I never went to one in middle school and i don't know if I should go to this one.

i think you shoudl go so u can form ur own opinion and then if u dont want to go to the rest of them at least ull have a reason to tell friends if they ask why not. i went to my freshman dance 2 years ago and hated it. it was like girls gone wild and i felt very uncomfortable. then i didnt go sophomore year but i did go this year and it was much better. just think of this first time as a fact finding mission. hope this helps.

be brave and try new things, you will like the music and seeing your friends and meet new people. you might enjoy dancing [dancing is all about moving to the beat and having fun. you do not have to be a expert dancer, just have fun with it]

The question is - do you want to go to this one? Are your freinds going? If you want to go, hook up w/ a bunch of your buddies and check it out. If you don't want to go there'll still be plenty of opportunities in the future.
