I love the ocean but not the beach.I love to hear the wind banging the rigging on a marina full of sailboats.I love walking along a snow covered seashore, where mine are the only tracks.I love the sound of a lonesome seagull and the sound of waves lapping against a fishing troller.I love to watch brown pelicans, skimming the waves looking for breakfast on a windy bleak,November morning.Yea,I love the ocean

The mountains are wonderful to visit in the summer but the beach is for all seasons. Nothing can replace the sound of the ocean and the feel of salt air and sand.

give me a cabin out in the mountains any day. I love the woods the mountains, the smell of the trees, the sounds of the animals at night. However I need to be near water like a brook or a waterfall.
I be a landlubber.

I love the ocean, but fear it at the same time. The roar of the waves crashing on the shore, and the smell of the salt in the air is great. But out on the surface, I look at the looming depth and darkness of it, and am afraid of falling in. Strange, eh?

Who lives in a pineapple under the sea? Um, sorry, this question reminds me of Spongebob.
I love the ocean. It's two steps from the front door of my apartment.
