Hi. Oh yes, I love that cartoon. I was in love with Bullwinkle. And with Mr. Peabody. And "fractured fairy tales" with Edward Everett Horton as the narrator. And Boris and Natasha. "We must get moose and squirrel". So funny. It was really brilliant. You must be a very cool person to get this humor. I am glad to meet you.

Brilliant cartoon, way ahead of the pack, if not it's time. Not terribly 'political', as such, in my opinion, but definitely 'pro-intelligence', if that counts. Brilliant when they were new & still so today.

modify) William Conrad as The Narrator...can't be beat. (And in the movie, too.)
I briefly spoke w/ June Foray in San Diego in either '87, '88 or '89. What a Nice Gal.

"Hey Rocky, watch me pull a rabbit out of my hat!"

"AGAIN?"

It was all brilliant. Boris and Natasha were great foils for the Cold War hoopla that was rampant in that era, and the absurdity of war and public policy was keyed up enough so that adults could enjoy the fun as well as the kiddies.
