Obviously its important to you that you keep up on current events but maybe its time to take a break. All the senseless deaths in the world can weigh heavy on your shoulders and can bring on depression. Take a month off. Tell your friends that if anything important happens in the news and its something that you absolutely need to know, then tell you. Promise not to watch the news or pick up a newspaper for at least a month. And in that time try to remember what brings you joy. Revel in beauty and things that make you laugh. When you are happy and joyful, you have a greater effect on the community and world around you. Personally I'm still haunted by 9/11 and the only way I've been able to move on is to try to live my life to the fullest in memory of those whose lives were cut short and won't have a chance. So go grab your boogie shoes and put on some good music. Dance to their memories. Suck all the joy out of life that you can.

That is because you have morals dear...and a heart too. Which unfortunetly some people are so uneducated and live so Barbaric they will never understand. I say "get the troops out" they should have never gone in the first place"..there all going to kill each other anyway..and there is nothing god or you or I can do about it.

If it didn't upset you, I'd worry about you. Watch less news, just keep up with the headlines, so you know what's going on. Find yourself a calmer path for awhile. You can't save the world, but you can make it better - one step at a time.
