The most overlooked factor in this method is that of the "pre-ejaculate." When a male reaches orgasm, he ejects various amounts of semen from his penis. Before this ejaculate comes out, a pre-ejaculate is released, to sort of clean the way for the more important fluid to be released. This pre-ejaculate almost cleanses the urethra, but don't be fooled...the pre-ejaculate contains actual semen.

A man can sense when he is about to ejaculate, but cannot determine when/if there is a pre-ejaculate on the way. This pre-ejaculate is what causes most of the pregnancies derived from the withdraw method.

The only 100% fool-proof method of birth control is abstinence. Since that is a ridiculous concept in modern times, the comination of birth control pills and condoms virtually eliminate any chance of pregnancy.

yes. My first born. Sperm hides in the pre ejaculate excretion. So it is not a good method. Try spermacides with the withdrawal method. That might lesson your chances. Otherwise the pill is the best. Withdrawal method is a bit like playing Russian Roulet. It just takes one little sperm. That's it! Hope this helps! Have a great day!

Well, my girlfriend, who was 43 at the time..used that method. She is now the 44 year old proud parent of a one month old beautiful little girl. (her oldest is 22 , then next 19) she also has twin grandchildren 1 1/2..I would say the method is not foolproof!!

there has been like a million those who were conceived making use of that approach! properly per chance no longer precisely a million, yet i'm confident you get the point. it truly is between the most unreliable techniques so that you could use. in my opinion, your more advantageous acceptable off no longer even bothering. From just about the 2d you commence to have sex the guy is leaking out sperm, even if he pulls out before he extremely ejaculates, then you extremely say that your boyfriend re-inserted his penis after ejaculation? That merely will strengthen your opportunities.

Withdraw method is not for preventing pregnancy. By the time you withdraw, she's pregnant. Little spermie is a fast son of a gun. You just frustrated yourself. Try something else.

I have been taking a chance and risking it but I never got pregnant that way. I am pregnant now and it was intentionally but after this pregnancy I am going to be very cautious because I do not want anymore children.

*sigh* Yes, my idiot cousin is pregnant after using the 'withdraw method'.

Pre-come has sperm in it. Not as much as actual semen does, but it still has more than enough to get a woman pregnant. Any time a penis goes into your vagina, especially without protection, you have a huge risk of getting pregnant.
