If it's during an erection that is normal and bound to occur. However if it's occuring when it's soft and you can still see strong popping veins then I would really start to worry and seek medical attention fast. Have you done something late out of the normal? Like rub some cream, spray something on it, or mistreated it in any form - all of this could have played a role in doing that too.
