I still haven't seen it yet..............is it any good?

It is excellent, I loved it! It was definitely better than the second one. Jack Sparrow, Johnny Depp's character, if very sarcastic and amusing and he makes the whole movie worth seeing. I can't recommend it enough.

Two ties in more to the Disneyland ride. One is better in my opinion. You loose the surprise value waiting this long, because everyone knows about Jonny Depps decisions on playing his role.

Very good. Just consider, would they have committed to two sequels if it was not a well-received movie?
Actually, they might, I don't understand Hollywood these days. But it's still a good general rule of thumb.

Yes, very good, but not as good as the sequel. But I would see the first one before the second so as to understand it better.

Yes it is a very good movie. It is suspensful and a great story so I recommend seeing it.
