Yes, but they are the most affective, there are diagrams, rings, patches, and other things I can't think of, but I think they recalled the patches because many women we have heart attacks.

I recommend an IUD i had one and LOVED it and after my baby I am having it put back in. I had no period the whole time it was in and you can't feel it at all.
