They see the most horrific things. How do you get used to seeing death everyday?

It's just a job, and once you see something particularly disturbing, nothing bothers you after that. It is kind of like an initiation, once you see it, you're over it and it doesn't even phase you anymore. Some things you never get used to, like death of young people or children.

I don't know. I guess some people just don't get bothered by things like that. I could never touch one dead person that I've never seen or met before, let alone hundreds like some people do. I guess if you do it enough, you can pretty much get over anything.

They know that death is a part of life and its easier to fix the deceased up to look like their are in a peaceful sleep because they don't know them.

My cousin works for a funeral home and I still havent figured out how he does it!!
