What a pretty name...Many women name their girls after themselves nowadays...so I say, Go for it...with a name like Tamara Renee, I'd want to put more Tamaras into the world..maybe someday, she'll have a girl and you can have a Tamara Renee 3rd....Such a pretty name...â¥

there is something to be said for a little more imagination than that
I say this only because you make me think of a family I recently dealt with at work - 5 people in the household (all 3 males shared exactly the same name, except the Sr, Jr, III part - both females shared exactly the same name) - I don't know, to me that is bizarre!

No offense Tamara, but I wouldn't do it! I am named after my Mom & I love her dearly, but it has always been confusing & I kinda felt ripped off 'cause I didn't have an original name of my own!

If you do that she will hate you for it the rest of her life. I get phone calls for my dad, mail for my dad, Legal and credit problems also. Hell on my credit report they had an account of his on my report he opened in 1976, I was only 16 and couldnt even legally get credit. I only found this out recently. Your kid will suffer these same problems, believe me! Don't do it!

Its been done...one sister is named after my mother and one brother after my father, one brother after an uncle and grandfather...the rest of us got our own names because we were not first.
