I recently failed two stress tests and had to have a heart cath. I dicussed my metal allergy with the cardiolgist in case I had to have a stent or bypass surgery and he just blew me off like it was nothing to worry about. But I can visualize that all those metalic stitches and or stents would set up an inflamation that could kill me.

Don't quote me on this, but I believe the material used in stents and artificial joint replacements is made of materials that do not cause infections, rejection or allergies. If metals are used, it is generally titanium, which the body does not normally reject. It was wrong of the cardiologist not to explain alternatives to you, because I feel that he knew there was nothing for you to worry about, but he should have gone into detail about it. I would get a second opinion. Not all doctors have a good bedside manner.

check out on the internet. herbs and other natural ways to combat allergys, takeing alfafha tablets with meals for example with digest your food so well that there is less allergic reactions to the body to the things that once were not digested well, and reacted to by the body, there is an embalance in your system ,go find out what it is ,find for yourself a treatment.go to library. check out some books on allergys, and treatmentsm there IS a cure out there YOU must find it, noone else gives a damn enoiugh about you to do it for you, unless you pay them, you must heal your self no one else is going to do it for you,stop eating juck foods,

All metals? So even surgical grade steel or titanium can cause a reaction?
What about gold or silver?

YOU WOULD HAVE TO HAVE ONE OF THE OLD FASHIONED ONES WHICH WERE MADE FROM A KIND OF PLASTIC BUT AT 73 IF YOU HAVENT NEEDED YET THEN WHY WORRY JUST INJOY WHAT TIME YOU HAVE LEFT INSTEAD OF WORRYING ABOUT WHAT IF OR MAYBE
