4. you do this two more times so that you have three cards face up.
5. place the rest of the cards on top of the half deck that was set aside earlier. (not the ones you "burned")
6. add up the three cards you have face up, so if we have a 7, a 5 and a jack, its 22
7. take your deck and count out 22 cards and the twenty secon card will be the ace of spades (or the 7th card that was memorized earlier)
