Hmm... you could be having little episodes or mood swings. I used to be like that, but it was because I was depressed and *I* was having episodes. Or possibly something that you see or hear could be bringing back memories of things you have forgotten... and that could be a trigger.
I suggest going to a doctor and having them give you tests and such...

It could be any number of things. You say you're not depressed, but most people with depression don't realize that they are. Depression is more than just constantly feeling sad. It can make you feel anxious, miserable and even have you experience mysterious pains for which there are no explanation. Depression can also cause weight loss, no appetite and insomnia.
You could be under stress, or just coming down from a stressful period. Or you may be in peri-menopause, or have a bi-polar condition. The only way you will know for sure is to see a doctor. Anyone here can give you good guesses, but a true diagnosis would have to come from a health professional. So do yourself a favor and stop feeling miserable. See your doctor. If he or she can't help you, they might refer you to a therapist. Good luck!

Sounds like you may possibly have a hormone imbalance...but there are tons of other things that could also be the culprit. Do you have any other symptoms? Hot flashes? Cramps? Irritability? Weight gain? If so, then hormones are likely to blame. If not, then you might have to consider other causes. Go to the doctor. He/she can refer you to whomever you should go to next, if need be. Counselor, whatever. But don't be embarrassed or scared about seeking help. We all need help at some point in our lives!

Well for starters, how old are you? If you're in your 40's it can be the beginning of menopausal symptoms, perimenopause. Any feelings of hot, then cold, flushing, can't sleep, night sweats? If you're not in your 40's and you're younger, it can still be hormonal. If you're on birth control, the dosage of estrogen, progesterone or testosterone could be too high or low, either one. And sometimes, you may not think you're depressed but the chemicals in your brain may not agree with you. Also, have your thyroid checked out. Hyperthyroidism especially can give you tons of symptoms. Hope this helps!

It very well could be hormonal. Also there are instances of women being preg. and still having a sort of period.
You could call your doctor or gyno and talk to them. They are trained in these matters. Are you in school? Could be going back blues... or change in seasons... Obviously there are things on your mind that you need to deal with. finding someone you feel comfortable talking to helps a lot~

I used to do that and thought I was going crazy, I'd be laughing and crying at the same time, my doctor said it was hormonal and wanted to run tests and put me on meds. So I'd say its hormonal with you too. good luck

You haven't offered your age.
Are you on any type of pills or medicine that affects hormones? I took estrogen when I was in my early 30's, and it definitely made me extremely emotional. I could not sit and watch any program on tv without crying.
Talk to your doctor about it.

could bea number of things, hormones, chemical imbablance...
easiest thing is try some St. John's Wort for a few days and see if that helps, if it does-imbalance
but the 2 could be interrelated...
