Each State and juristiction differs. In Texas if you have enough medical insurance helmet law is waved. Other places helmets are manditory. So what is your question? Does the state where I live require manditory helmet usage?

I started riding in 1968 and it was not a requirement then. By early 69 it was. At least we could still ride a 250 back then.
