I did once and got scammed out of $1500.00 from my checking account.
It was so stupid of me, I gave them my pin # .
It was an email that looked exactly like Ebay asking for all my bank info. It wasn't til my checks started bouncing did I know.
The FBI contacted me after I reported it to my bank, to Ebay, and to the police.
I was lucky I got my money back from the bank because I was insured.

Never. For example, there are sometimes sites (like some newspapers) which ask unnecessary for many of your personal details before letting you read this tiny article on their page. I love giving them some outrageous details like: a 94 year granny, enjoying parachuting and ski-jumping...:-))

I would answer that type of request.

but not with the information they requested....
my reply would be a bit more colourful.

If i want to patronise any company, I will instigate the transaction.
