Monavie juice is 30% acai berry fruit and has great benefits because it is carefully processed at the site where it is picked to preserve its very high polyphenol content.
Go to Monavie.com for details. This stuff cured my wife's tendonitis and bursitis after 4 fruitless months of seeing an orthopedic doctor. Don't diss it til you have tried a bottle of what I now call 'The Miracle Juice'.

If you plan to eat the Acai berry fruit then you will find many good vitamins, minerals, acids, fiber and trace minerals. If you plan on purchasing a bottle of acai juice, forget it. Between pasturizing and adding other ingredients you won't see any great benefits.

There are certain benefits that you can only get by eating the true food, that you won't get out of a bottle, jar or cream, so whenever possible go directly to the source.

The berry itself is a bit sour (pungent) but it does make a good sorbet when a bit of lime is added.

Our local Costco has the juice in a bottle. I tried a sample and the taste was good, but then again allot of the benefits are lost when it is mass produced.

Do you mean Acai? I tried that it was alittle sour plumish. But good in a smoothie with yogurt
