Britney was more successful in terms of sales, so I'd have to say Britney was probably more popular. Too bad, because Christina has always blown her away in terms of talent. It's nice to see Christina doing well. Hopefully, Britney is happy in her marriage and enjoys being a mom because I don't think that she'll sell very many more records. Britney Spears clearly wins the 90s popularity contest, but Christina Aguilera is much hotter and a better singer. I think Christina Aguilera needs better management and to focus more on the Pop Rock and less on the R&B.

Britney Spears defintiely more Popular than Christina during the late 90s. Britney became a world-wide pop icon sensation and above normal pop Phenoma. She was kind of like the Michael Jackson and Elvis Preseley at the height of her career and fame. She was the golden-girl of pop music during the late 90's and the beginning of the new millenium until pop music died down around 2002 or 2003 and rap music took over the music charts.

Britney Spears. I like her voice, her dance moves and her style of performance. Most of her songs became hits. Christina Aquilera had only one so far. After she cleaned up her slutty image. But I gotta admit she can hit the higher note than Britney. But it's just not the voice that counts , the expression and the whole delivery. Unfortunatley, K-Fed is really bad news for her as well as Bobby Brown for Whitney Houston. I don't know and don't understand what they see in these losers?
