Olive Oyl was Popeye's jealous girlfriend. Her original boyfriend was named Ham Gravy.
She and Popeye did get married once. Don't know if it lasted.
Popeye adopted Swea' Pea after he got him in the mail as a foundling. Olive babysits a lot. Hm.
Popeye's still into the spinach, I hear.
It's canned, not raw, and he's got a jones for it.
Hard habit to break! I should know, I had to turn down free spinach salad recently!

I always thought she was Popeye's girlfriend since he was jealous of Bluto when he tried to make moves on her. By the way, where did Sweepea come from- was he/she a secret "lovechild"? Talk about gender confusion... Yeah, Popeye sure counted on that spinach to make his muscles(and everything else) get bigger and harder, didn't he? Bye-bye-spinach, hellooo Viagra!

Olive oyl was popeyes wife he just saved her when that man tried to get her because he liked her,so popeye would have to eat spinich thta made him stronger to beat the guy up.
