the last couple seasons havent been funny and the premier for this season wasnt either. shouldnt they have called it quits like 3 years ago? it seems like theyre pandering to people who say "it represents real family situations" while taking away from the bizzare stuff that made it funny. best episode ever--the glove slap one with the nuclear farm and tomacco.

i stopped watching the Simpson's years ago. that's when it stopped being funny.

I don't agree, the Simpsons is the only programme that has stayed consistently funny!
If you watch the old ones from the early nineties though, these new ones will seem much funnier IMO. That shows how it has evolved and stayed funny!
That tomacco episode was a classic tho....

I think this season is good.
My daughter is into the show now. It cracks me up, because I grew up watching it, too.
