Stockings,that are attach to a supporter of some kind. What I mean by a girdle,alot of girls,age 13,14,15,etc,wore girdles,either to hold up there stockings,are a garterbelt.Most of the girls I knew,was not fat,but they told me a girdle,was more comfortible,than a garterbelt. They said a garterbelt,you had to keep adjusting the garter strap,or there stockings,would wrinkle.

I wear stockings and a garter belt to work everyday. They are so much more comfortable than pantyhose. The new garter belts I get have way shorter straps than the old style my mother wore, and all of mine have 6 straps to keep the stockings really tight.
They do sell some hot little girdle thingys at stockingstore.com. and I have one that is cute, but it really dosen't hold the stockings any better than the garter belt.

Not as many as really should be sad to say. When you go out in public and look around most women could really benefit from a well fitted girdle. Most people do not understand that wearing a girdle every day has some serious health benefits. Since we has humans stand erect gravity has a very negative effect on our internal organs - wear a decent firm boned girdle will counteract this negative effect and hold your internal organs in their normal natural position. After a period of time you do notice the positive effect when you are daily in a decent girdle with dramatic increase in energy and confidence, I was amazed, now I wear a girdle every day and I love it so will you.

I love wearing girdles with my pantyhose, I usually wear the girdle over my pantyhose to make it harder for men to get quick access to my sweet love hole.

My partner and some of her friends still wear girdles, I know by the hardness when they bump into me!

girls that age don't wear stockings anymore unless to some sort of formal and i haven't heard the word girdle or garter belt in ages

Girdles have become uncommon now that many types of underwear are elasticised and provide extra support. Most types of stockings have elastic tops so they don't have to be held up.
