Back at ya...
"War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. The decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks nothing is worth war is much worse. The person who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing that is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better [people] than himself."

Actually, I wish I could pop you guys who think war is useless in another dimension where you could have your way.
No WWII. You women would be sex slaves for Japanese soldiers. COOL!!!
No war against terrorists. You women would soon be wearing veils on your face, and for s****ing around like most of you do, they would chop off your heads. COOL!!!
But, hey, if that's what you want, become politically active as soon as you turn 18, and demand we surrender. It's your heads, not mine. As a man, I could live very well under Islam, and be lord and master of my house. Besides, I am 64 years old, so I don't have to tolerate it very long.
To be totally serious, you disgust me. Over a million men and a handful of women have died to give you all your great standard of living, and keep you women from being treated like dirt as most of the countries we have fought, treat their women.
Since you neither understand it nor are grateful for it, you can be sure it will stop. History shows when a nation becomes like you, soon enough the country is defeated in war.
As I said, I can take it. I don't want my wife nor daughters or granddaughters to live like that, but there are so many dummiers who just don't get it.

Cool song by Edwin Star. However, war can sometimes be justified. For example, WW2 rid the world of the evil of German Nazism and Japanese militarism. The preservation of democracy was, in this instance, a good thing.

Well depends on your views. I'm a liberal as in I want peace in this ******* world. Most people into politics like I am will say wars are meant to fight for peace..now that's some ****.ing shi.t! In order for peace no physical harming must be involved. So like..you're half right half wrong. But hey, you're completely right in saying that in my opinion...
peace!

Population control for one.... But to flat out say war is good for nothing is absolutely stupid. War with a good solid reason and CAUSE (WWII), is needed.
