Pour a bottle of pepsi cola on it. It will foam and away with the metal. I works. because pepsi cole has acid in it that cut rust. I pour it on my battery in my car and I was surprise. try yo will like it.

Sandpaper and stuff like that. If it's a metal tool or something that's not elegant, you coat it in oil (WD40) with a rag so the rust will not come back. Rust needs oxygen, and the oil prevents oxygen from reaching the metal.

Depends on what you are trying to get it off of. There are several kinds of rust removers available at Wally World or the hardware stores. They really don't remove it, they are more of a neutralizer/cover up. About the only way to really remove it is to have it sandblasted...

Naval jelly works pretty good. Other than that a wire brush or steel wool works. Depends on how big the job is.

Naval jelly. It is an acidic gel you can get at a hardware store or a home improvement market. Don't let any get on your skin or eyes.

old fashion coke cola
pour it on and it will bubble it away
you can also clean jewerly well with it but of course you do have to clean it afterwards with a gentle soap and water
