Probably, In order to "fail" a polygraph, you have to recognize lying as a "bad" thing. Sociopaths pass lie detector tests.

What is going wrong with my country? Don't you people all know we are in a war now, for our survival? Where is your respect? He is trying to do the right thing, and we have to stick together on this fight. My country is going to hell, because you can not support the President of the United States!!! He is one person, he does not deserve the treatment that some are saying about him. Do you actually think he does everything on his own? No, we have a congress that makes the decisions. He was supported by all of congress, just after the killers, and murderers, attacked our country. I think you know better, than to attack him all the time. Thank GOD, we have a President, who stands up for the people, and who is trying to protect us, from being attacked again. God Bless the United States of America!!!

Hah! First he'd actually have to answer a question directly, and he can't seem to do that! He redirects, and turns it around to make it sound like someone else did something bad to him! Oh and remember 911! Don't let the terrorists win!!!

It's like that Simpsons/X-Files episode, when Scully gives Homer a lie detector test and the machine blows up

Yes. In order for a polygraph to detect a lie, there has to be some way of comparing a person's physiological responses when they are lying and when they are telling the truth.

Since Bush always lies, there is no way to make that comparison, so a polygraph machine could not prove anything with him.

Probably, because he is only following orders and probably has little idea of the consequences of his actions on behalf of whoever he is the spokesperson of.
