well, i am 13 lol and this has happened to me before. i fell asleep and it was cold in my room where the window had been open and my lips were wet in my sleep. so in a result of that they turned chapped. i prefer to use chapstick and carmex. if you use it everday for a day or two then they will be healed right up! if you think that this isnt the problem or your problem gets worse, then you should see a doctor. but the brused thing is kinda something to worry about maybe.... if you are sick then your lips appear to be colored differently. so follow this and see the physician or, even a dermatologist (skin doctor) if things get worse. good luck, let me know how things work out.

use chapstick on ur lips, then use vaseline on the area around ur lips. this has happened to me once. whenever u feel the vaseline or chapstick is wearing out, reapply it. soon, ur lips will stop burning, and after about 2 days, if u touch it, u will be able to peel it off. i know that sounds gross, but thats what happens!

CHAPSTICK. u need CHAPSTICK.
what i do. is that i use a towel and soak it wet with hot water. and then. i put it to my lips. and let it sit there for a while. and then i put on chapstick. (a freakin LOAD. like. i put on a lot)and then i go to sleep. and in tha mornin. if ur lips r STILL red and bruised, then take a soaked hot towel and put it to ur lips again. and it should b better. if u need ne more help. email me. lil_miss_azngangsta2@yahoo.com

That has happened to me many times too!
Sometimes I found out it was the toothpaste I was using, it was making me allergic!
I always took some anti-allergy pills, and it passed in a while.

that happened to me 2! it burned bad! it lasts a while and it leaves a black ring around ur mouth. use medicated chapstick! hope this helps!!

try putting ice on it and did you try a new food that you might be allergic to? (i'm 11 too)

you have cold sores, or fever blisters, i don't know what they call it where you are. get yourself zovirax from the pharmacy.
