No, never hard of it. If you're using tampons maybe that's the reason. If it due to pads, stay away from the ones that are scented. You might have an allergy

The burning could be caused by something other than the period itself, such as friction from the pad, or from a yeast infection. Check with your gyno to find out for sure. Another reason for burning during urination could be from a bladder infection. Again, you will need a medical diagnosis to find out what's causing that burning sensation.

No, u are allergic to the kotex or tampon u are using, the plastic perhaps,
Get some Aloe Vera gel to wipe with and put soft toilet paper on top of the kotex so the plastic will not irritate u.

Skin on the outside can burn if you've been wearing a pad, or if blood dries on your skin. If your bladder and urethra are stinging when you urinate, it's time to see the doctor.
