I have to say Day of the Dead creeps me out. It's just so brutal.
Zombies are the only monsters that still, as an adult, make it hard to go outside in the dark after watching a movie.

Original Night of the Living Dead. I have seen it like 50 million times and for some reason it still creeps me out.

dawn of the dead(2004). those are some freakin fast zombies. that movie scares the crap out of me. i love the movie
the original night of the living dead is really creepy.
if you want a laugh you should watch return of the living dead 2. zombies in all their 80s horror movie glory.
shaun of the dead is pretty good.
i don't know if 28 days later could be classified as a zombie movie, but it seems like it could actually happen. freaky to think about huh?

I have to point out that I am Legend is really the first zombie story, even though it is vampires. Last Man on Earth is basically every zombie movie ever made.
