This IS possible -- because I was Active Duty Military while undergoing Divorce from my ex at that time (and I had orders to a new location) -- so it was embarassing, but I HAD to go to COURT in UNIFORM and TELL The JUDGE and SHOW my orders and get that recorded BEFORE I left with me and the children.
IF you are NOT Military -- it is more difficult, but if it is JOB RELATED (ie: You are being RELOCATED due to consolidation of facilities or something else), then YES, with the proper documentation in front of the judge, you CAN leave the state before the divorce is final.

Legally am not sure, do you have a divorce attorney? You'll need to ask him or her. It would make it alot more difficult, as there are always issues that come up, and you need to be in constant contact with your lawyer so you don't get the shaft.

As long as you have no kids, no property, and have all the other details figured out, I don't see why you couldn't. All the paperwork can be done through the mail.

Check with your attorney for your particular state, but if you are represented at any hearings I don't see why you couldn't move.

Sure. Give your soon-to-be ex your address, (A P.O. box is nothing else, get in your car, and leave.) The papers you need to sign will be sent.

as long as you are willing to be at the scheduled court dates, i don't see why it would be a problem.
