Does the MTV show Laguna beach have a script or is it real life?? There is a rumor at my school that it is a script? is it???

Laguna Beach is a reality soap opera that airs on MTV that documents the lives of several affluent teenagers living in Laguna Beach, California, a wealthy community in Orange County. The show contains similar themes to the FOX hit teen drama The O.C. It differs from most other reality shows in that it is structured as somewhat more of a traditional narrative than a documentary.
There has been a lot of discussion over how real the show is due to the quality and quantity of the camera angles that capture the footage. E!Online investigated this, and discovered that many scenes are manipulated by the producers.

its a reality show thats done over an 8 months period so its all real drama trust me cause my cousin has friends in his college who are from laguna beach

The hills is alot of stuff those people actually go through but directors and producers will add script to make it more dramatic and interesting! even if it is fake it doesnt matter; its fun to watch! lol

it is supposed to be a reality show, no scripts..although I do wonder if some of the situations are set up, and possibly some of the dialog too.

The cast say they don't but if there was some drama they missed they would ask them to act out happened so they can get it on film. They say producers would try and stir things up more.

umm i think that its not script but some parts they might get them to say certain stuff or something..

i don;t think it is exactly scprited, but i do thing the produers have some say in what goes on.
