OMG!!!
That is bad.
Yes I still even tho mine are big hide the knives in the house. I caught my son at 2 walking around with one early one morning. You know how kids get up and mess in things. My daughter was playing with her dolls and climbed on a baby doll high chair and fell and landed on something and cut her nose. We had to take her to the ER. I got rid of all the babydoll toys after that. SO many things have happen over the years .

At about four years old my son stuck a key into a transformer used to convert European 220 volts to 110 volts so we could use our American appliances. It was a 1200 watt transformer and he screamed so loud the neighbors across the street asked what happened. Don't need the transformer now but I won't ever forget that one.

kids will always hurt themselves on something in the house. My kid hurt herself on the floor. I can't do much about that. She bumped her head real bad on the table. I am not getting rid of that...
I also do plastic dishes, but just cause the glass ones break all the time

Well, our daughter fell off the bed when she was four or five. Would you believe she was playing with her stuffed animals?
To some extent, accidents will happen.
But we have taught our children that glass is dangerous, and we don't keep it at children's reach. We have enough toys that they don't feel tempted to do something like that. (Knock on wood).

Well i don't have children but i know of children that did stuff like what your son did. 1 child swallowed a marble and another child triped over a wire.

Of course. Most kids will hurt themselves on just about anything. My daughter banged her foot on the cofee table while jumping rope for example.
