I love him! What a voice...so smooth...so sexy. All of his songs are great. Love his new sound, too.
If I had to choose just one, it would probably be "You're Once, Twice, Three Times a Lady...."

I love Lionel Richie. He has the best love songs and they are of very simple lyrics. Nothing fancy, but powerful.
Truly (1982), Love Will find a Way/Hello (1983), Love Will Conquer All/Say You, Say Me (1986)
He also wrote "Lady" for Kenny Rogers. That is one of the baddest love songs ever.
His work for the Commodores speaks for itself. Just to be Close to You, Easy, Zoom, Three Times a Lady, Still
IMO Lionel does not have to reinvent himself. His current single leaves a lot to be desired. I don't like it and it seems he is out of his comfort zone.
